Mini Courtyard House

A modern interpretation of nalukettu was the brief provided by the client. A nalukettu was incorporated within a residence of 1000 sq ft consisting of three bedrooms. A cosy, well-ventilated interior with mostly wooden finish replicating traditional Kerala house interiors with a slight modern tinge. Ample natural lighting and ventilation were achieved with careful planning and design of fenestrations. We worked on some interesting window details.
