X&Y House
4000 sft | Bangalore, Karnataka
The name for the X and Y House is derived from the configuration of the ground and first-floor plans. It is a carefully put together piece with a melange of both contemporary and traditional features. The design was drafted accommodating the latest technologies and energy sustainability which explains the alternative energy-efficient building materials used. The interior of the house is well lit to aid the visual condition of the client’s mother. The in-between patios in the house were factored in as per the family’s keen gardening interest. The white walls, contrasting stone cladding and the wooden finishing along with the glass railing adds interest to its elevations making the house a visual treat.
